About the Role
As a Laboratory Technician at MTC Materials Engineering Company, you will play a crucial role in conducting various tests and experiments to support our research and development efforts. You will work closely with engineers and scientists to analyse and characterise materials used in a wide range of applications.
Key Responsibilities:
Performing physical and chemical tests on materials such as metals, polymers, ceramics, and composites
Preparing samples for analysis using techniques such as cutting, polishing, and mounting
Operating and maintaining laboratory equipment including microscopes, spectrometers, and thermal analysers
Recording and analysing test data accurately and documenting results
Assisting in the development of new testing procedures and methodologies
Ensuring compliance with safety protocols and maintaining a clean and organized work environment
Collaborating with cross-functional teams to support ongoing projects and initiatives

Requirements
Proven experience as an Account Director or in a similar role within the testing engineering industry
Strong understanding of testing methodologies and technologies
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Demonstrated ability to build and maintain client relationships
Experience in managing a team of account managers or executives
Ability to develop strategic account plans and drive revenue growth
Strong negotiation and problem-solving skills
Knowledge of project management principles
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Engineering, or related field
Relevant certifications in account management or sales would be a plus
